The 2022 Chapter approved book (details on the Warhamer-Community site) will just be matched play missions and rules this time. Points values will be released for free!
The mission rules will be updated to award more command points later in the game. The designers intent is to try to move away from battles being decided in the first turn and make the later phases of a match more meaningful. I like the intention but have no idea if they will achieve the effect.
The book will also have updated secondary objectives for all armies.
Finally, they had this awesome cover art featured - and being a rogue trader era Ultramarines player, I liked it. I really want to know about the bear. The bear needs to be a minor plot point, or at least some bit of flavor text. Stop the press just to update this.
